The Life & Loves of a Nobody tours in March and May, Cape Wrath tours in April, and amidst all that we're making a new piece about experiences of birth, Labour Intensive, for Derby Theatre in April... details below.

APRIL
Third Angel presents
LABOUR INTENSIVE
Friday 17 April, 8pm
Derby Theatre
01332 593939
We've been
talking to people in the birth business: Mothers, Fathers, Siblings, Midwives
and Obstetricians, in a quest to understand more about the amazing physical
feat that is giving birth.
From the terrible
hospital food to the tender words whispered to take away the pain, the near
death experiences to the love a first cry can bring, it’s all laid bare in this
show, as our average family takes you through some extraordinary tales of truly
remarkable events.
Labour Intensive was commissioned
by the University of Derby and Professor Susan Hogan and is part of The BirthProject a two year research project looking at how various art forms can
explore the experiences of birth and mutual recovery.
